I keep getting chat requests from people I don't know, and when I reply they ask if they can use one of my drawings as part of collage they're working on. It's happened at least five times now. Have any of you been dealing with this? Is it some kind of scam or virus?

The Stardew Valley 1.6 update is here! It's been so much fun to play and explore all the new secrets and little details. I feel like now, it's the game ConcernedApe always wanted it to be. I've been seeing a lot of other players making these character profiles, so I decided to give it a try. I used JazzyBee's character creator on itch.io, and filled out a template from lifeaftergrind.com.

I like to imagine that River is descended from whoever the Native people of the Valley are, which is why he's capable of Forest Magic. Also, maybe "youngest of five sons" would be more grammatically correct than "youngest of five brothers", because that kind of sounds like he has five brother, rather than him being the fifth. 🤔

Oh, and I almost forgot- I got a new job!! I'm starting next week as a baker at a restaurant just outside of town 🍞

I found these two lists on Tumblr, thirty unusual questions to help you flesh out a character. It's been a while since I've done something like this, so I thought it would be fun to give it a shot. I'll be using Erika this time, and I might do some more later. Here we go~!

- Her nails, since they're longer

- Not sure. Maybe rayon

- Two days

- Both, probably more often on a chair

5. Do they sleep with their bedroom door open or closed?

- Closed, since her doors opens into a very public hallway

- 3p.m.

7. If they suddenly woke up with animal ears and tail, what animal would they be?

- Cat or fox

8. If they could only eat one thing for twenty days straight, what would it be?

- Salad or sandwiches

- Only her favorites

- Long, hot showers. The bathroom fills with steam, song, and the scent of fruity shampoo and body wash

- Yes

22. Do they work best in a messy space or a neat space?

- Neat, or at least controlled chaos

23. Are they the type to keep personal photos?

- Yes, either in a scrapbook or on a tablet

24. Do they indulge in anything?

- Sweets! She loves just about anything chocolate

- Maybe as a teenager

- Only if it was really strange, or sounded important

- Find a high point, or go back the way she came

- Trying to rescue people, but as soon as she reaches them, they turn to sand

- Put herself in grave danger to rescue someone

- Stoic, partly because she's a doctor, and partly to avoid showing weakness

- Yes, and she doesn't stay in one spot while sleeping for very long

- Sometimes in Canada, they pour maple syrup on fresh snow and eat it with spoons. So, probably that.

- Like any good doctor, she uses the crook of her arm

- Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary

5. What's the longest they've ever stayed awake?

- A day and a half

- Either one in her back or neck, or her left wrist

- Telekinetic

8. Do they use someone to warm their hands/feet in the winter?

- No, since she she almost never gets cold

9. Do they walk normally down the street, or kick every leaf pile they can find?

- I think she's more of a puddle-jumper

10. How do they cry?

- Hard. She's not easily prone to tears, so when she does, it's like opening floodgates. If she can't hold onto someone, she'll be breathing heavy and constantly rubbing at her eyes with a tissue or her hands

11. Do they whistle?

- Yes, she likes to fill quiet spaces with music

12. How do they sleep?

- Deeply, either curled up with her husband or with her limbs splayed out. Also she snores

13. What do they find creepier, the attic or the basement?

- Basement

14. If they had wings, what color would they be?

- White with gray tips

15. Any scars?

- Yes, an assortment along her arms, a stab wound on one shoulder, and burns on her back

16. If they were any mythical creature, what would they be and why?

- A Valkyrie, fierce female warriors who fight to protect others

17. What is their biggest fear?

- Being left behind

- To save the people she cares about

19. Are they a fan of the warmth or the cold?

- Both, although she's more sensitive to heat

- Depends on her age at the time

- Being held close, or with his hands in her hair

- Teal!

- No, though she does play with her hair if she's nervous or bored.

- Yes

- Poutine with beef gravy, and a milkshake

- Yes, but she would regret it

- Usually yoga, sometimes alcohol

- Yes, very well. And bake, too

- Only if it's unbearably hot. And with underwear on, for sanitary reasons

- People looking down on her

My brother and I never went to the same school. I can only imagine it wouldn't gone something like this.
